Children will use real world photos to create and retell a narrative story without any written words.

Pre-exposure to wordless picture books
Use old family photos to tell stories

Describe the Activity:
First, we will visit wordless pictures books and share our noticings. Second, use one family photo to tell a story of our selves. Lastly, create narratives ourselves using real word pictures. Share stories in an open forum.

Assessment Procedure:
Assessment will be based on teacher observations of children’s willingness and ability to retell narratives by using photos and telling the story in sequential order.
